UPDATE: I was able to fix the draw loop so the pixels would be drawn faster! Check out the link to see it in action…instead of waiting for an hour to see the finished product.
Here is the project on Processing that Ed and I worked on yesterday.
Through much trial and error, and with a lot of help, we were able to take a photo and use processing to make it by using randomly generated ellipses of the correct pixel color. It’s generated really slowly though, so the image won’t show up for a while.
Can you think of any ways to speed up the process? You could use larger sized dots but there is a more slick way of approaching this problem

Very slick! It’s generating at 200 frames now, so it should show up quicker.

All figured out! Funnily enough, I found the solution while looking for ways to stop the draw loop.
